(This lesson should take 2-3 class days.)
USING Pro Tools software NOT using Pro Tools
Download instructions: When you click this link to download the file below, it will bring up a Google Drive with the Project 6 folder showing. Right-click on the folder and select "download". It will take a while for it to create a zipped file. When it's done it will say "do you want to leave this site" click "YES". You will then get a normal download dialog box to finish.
+ Go to this this link and download the “Project 6” Folder to your flash drive. It includes the starting .ptx, the video (listed below), and pdfs needed. + Print the Project #6 directions pdf, if needed. + Watch the Video "Project #6" + If you need a refresher about playlist and comping, watch this. + When Complete, email me a .ptx file to roberth@cos.edu. |
Watch these videos, take notes and write the following:
+ Video #1- Watch this video, take notes, and write a 1-2 page single-spaced summary, including the differences between the 4 edit modes, and all the tools described. + Video #2- Go to this this link and find the “Project 6” Folder. Either stream or download the Video: "Project #6" Watch this video, take notes, and write a 1/2-1 page single-spaced summary, including what edit modes and tools that were used and why, and was anything different from the first video. + Video #3- Watch this video, take notes, and write a summary of the tools and their functions. + Video #4- watch this video, take notes, and write a summary of the variations of the grabber tool. + Video #5- watch this video, take notes, and write a summary of the 4 edit modes (and variations), and how he used them in this video. + When Complete, email your writings to roberth@cos.edu.. Make sure they are clearly marked what video they are for. |
