(This lesson should take 2-3 class days.)
USING Pro Tools software NOT using Pro Tools
Download instructions: When you click this link to download the file below, it will bring up a Google Drive with the Project 6 folder showing. Right-click on the folder and select "download". It will take a while for it to create a zipped file. When it's done it will say "do you want to leave this site" click "YES". You will then get a normal download dialog box to finish.
Part #1 (first day) + Go to this this link and download the “Project 7” Folder to your desktop or flash drive. It includes a folder with a bunch of loops, and pdfs needed. It may take a while as it is several hundred megs. Make sure you remember where you download the folder, as you'll have to navigate there to find the loops later. + Print the Project #7 directions pdf, above, and in the Google drive. + Video #1 = Watch "RR Importing & Using Loops" + Try it = if you have time after you download all the loops, try to listen to, and import some loops at your correct tempo. Part #2 (2nd & 3rd day) + If you didn't watch me "live" or if you need a review, go to the google drive and watch as I go explain and go through Project 7, with Q&A afterward. + Make your song! = You should have enough info to build a song. Take your time, have fun, and play with it! + When Complete, send a .ptx file to roberth@cos.edu.. |

Part#2 (2nd day) + If you didn't watch me "live" or if you need a review, go to the google drive and watch as I go explain and go through Project 7, with Q&A afterward. + Write a summary of what I did, how I did it, and any Q&A. |
